Licence
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Cable Detective on Macs you own or control, subject to the Mac App Store terms.
As-is
Cable Detective is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The app is a diagnostic aid; verdicts and explanations may be wrong. Do not rely on Cable Detective for safety-critical or commercial decisions about cables, chargers, or ports.
No obligation to maintain
We are not obligated to provide updates, bug fixes, support, or compatibility with future macOS releases. The version you install today may stop working on a future macOS, and that is acceptable under this licence.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Franz Enzenhofer / fullstackoptimization.com is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of Cable Detective, including damage to cables, chargers, devices, or data.
Reverse engineering
Cable Detective is closed source. You may not decompile or reverse-engineer the app except where Apple's Mac App Store terms or applicable law expressly permit.
Termination
This licence ends automatically if you stop using the app or violate these terms.
Governing law
Austrian law applies, to the extent permitted by Apple's Mac App Store terms.
